FirstGlance Philadelphia 2010 has selected Level Up as part of this year’s program. We’re very excited, because last year we were awarded Best Comedy in our category for Tripping Up. Philly’s longest running indie film festival, now in its 13th year, is held at the Franklin Institute October 14-17th. The selection committee from the DC Shorts Film Festival wrote about Level Up, calling it, “a very cute, romantic comedy. The acting was very good, the story-line was imaginative and I love the photography!”

Level Up has been selected to screen at the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival! The festival runs April 29-May 2, at venues in the town of Wilmington, NC. This is the festival’s tenth year and they’ll be screening eight feature films (including 2 world premieres) and 50 shorts! Level Up is scheduled for Sunday, May 2nd. Wish us luck! Level Up received the Audience Choice Award at the 2010 West Chester Film Festival and was runner up for Best Film by a Pennsylvania Filmmaker. This was doubly thrilling to get such a warm reception, since our last short film won Best Comedy at the same festival last year!

Level Up has been selected to screen at the Bare Bones Independent Film Festival! The festival, which takes place in Muskogee, Oklahoma and celebrates the “By Any Means Necessary” attitude in independent film making, runs from April 15-25, 2010. Level Up will screen on Tuesday, April 20.
